Group golf breaks on offer at Dartmouth
February 3, 2012

Dartmouth Golf & Country Club is offering groups of golfers fantastic discounts on unlimited golf breaks, allowing them to save more than £300.

The impressive packages include free places, with one golfer in every 12 able to stay and play for free on trips taken between April and October, meaning they can enjoy a two-night golf break with three days of unlimited golf for as little as £133 per person.

Dartmouth Golf & Country Club's three-day unlimited golf breaks include a round of golf each day on the resort's Championship course and unlimited use of the nine-hole Dartmouth course; two-nights' bed-and-breakfast accommodation; one evening meal; and complimentary access to the extensive Lakeside Health & Leisure Club.

Free places are just the start of the savings on offer with golf groups also able to save 15 per cent on pre-booked buggies, 10 per cent off all drinks purchased throughout the stay and more than 20 per cent on a second evening meal for the group, with private dining in the Kingsbridge Suite available to groups for 24 or more.

In addition, groups will receive a case of wine which can be used as prizes to add a competitive edge to a trip.

The resort is also running free places promotions for those travelling earlier in the year with one place in four free during February and one in six free for those visiting in March.

Situated in 225 acres of south Devon countryside, just outside the beautiful town of Dartmouth , the resort boasts 27 holes of golf with the 18-hole Championship Course and Dartmouth Course complementing each other nicely.

The Championship Course was designed to challenge the most proficient golfer, with strategic positioning of tees, meandering streams, 12 water features and undulating greens. But while it makes the better players think, it is not so punitive as to spoil a round for high-handicappers and provides an excellent and enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities.

Although only a nine-hole layout, the Dartmouth is built to the same high standards as its sister course. Measuring 2,252 yards with a par of 33, it is guaranteed to test players while they enjoy a more relaxed round.

The area's mild winter climate means closures or temporary greens or tees are a rarity and in addition to golf the resort also boasts first-class leisure facilities, which include an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and spa.

Dartmouth Golf & Country Club's group offers are available to book until February 19. For more information, or to book your stay, call 0800 043 3669 or email reservations@dgcc.co.uk .
