FedEx playoff moves to Chicago in 2013
March 13, 2012

Conway Farms Golf Club in suburban Chicago will host the 2013 BMW Championship, the penultimate event in the US PGA Tour playoff series, officials announced on Monday.

Among the club's members is England's Luke Donald, the World No. 2 golfer who won the money titles on the US and European tours last year.

"I'm very excited about Conway Farms being announced as the site for the 2013 BMW Championship," Donald said. "It offers one of the best all-around tests of golf in the Chicago area and will be a course my fellow pros really enjoy."

The tournament will be the third of four playoff events next year and the top 30 players in season points after the BMW at Conway Farms on September 12-15 will advance to next year's Tour Championship at Atlanta.

Crooked Stick Golf Club in suburban Indianapolis will host this year's BMW while the 2014 BMW will be staged at Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver.
