Ian Poulter in noodle challenge
November 15, 2012

Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter took some time away from the course yesterday and was challenged to a noodle making contest by one of the local chefs at the WGC-HSBC Champions in China.

Worried that he might make a noodle out of himself by the end of it Poulter got stuck in straight away, much to the amusement of onlookers and BBC commentator Andrew Cotter.

Showing some excellent hand-eye coordination and remarkable dexterity, Poulter got a 10 out of 10 from his rival although the audience seemed reluctant to give them a try with Cotter joking that they would give them to Bubba Watson instead!

Despite the joking around, it was a pretty impressive effort from the World number 26 given that Chinese chefs train for two months to master the art. Maybe he has a future as the next Jamie Oliver when he decides to keep his clubs in the bag.
