Red hot deals from La Manga
February 21, 2012

With winter having arrived with a vengeance and courses shut throughout the UK, golfers have been left twiddling their thumbs but help is at hand with La Manga Club providing the perfect opportunity to escape the cold and head to warmer climes.

The five-star Spanish resort is offering some fantastic packages for 2012 with accommodation and a round of golf on one of its three 18-hole championship courses available from just €90 per person per night for a four-night stay until the end of March.

As well as golf, this amazing price includes accommodation in La Manga Club's fully serviced, four-star Las Lomas Village apartments, breakfast and access to Spa La Manga Club's fitness centre, indoor pool, saunas and steam rooms - while any guests booking a three-nights or more golf package during April will be entitled to €100 credit in the resort.

And golfers seeking a little bit of extra comfort can stay in the luxury resort's fabulous Principe Felipe Hotel and enjoy the same privileges on a four-night package from only €108 per person per night.

While Britain has shivered in sub-zero temperatures blown in from Siberia, La Manga Club, in Murcia , has been basking in temperatures of up to 19C, five degrees above the seasonal average, and promises warmer weather as the year progresses.

Prices at Las Lomas Village start from €90 per person per night - a saving of €36 per room per night - and from €108 per person per night at the Principe Felipe Hotel - a reduction of €78 per room per night.

Prices for the Best Golf and More packages are inclusive of VAT and are based on two people sharing a twin or double room and g reen fees.

The offers also give golfers 50 per cent discount on pre-booked golf club and buggy hire and those who would rather not play every day can exchange a round of golf for a selection of other activities including tennis and spa treatments .

La Manga Club is one of Europe 's leading golf destinations with three first-class courses. It has previously been the venue for numerous high-profile competitions, including the Spanish Open and Ladies European Tour Final Qualifying, and is a main contender to host the 2015 Solheim Cup.

In addition, the resort boasts unrivalled facilities as a sport and leisure venue including a 28-court tennis centre and a 2,000sqm spa and fitness centre. It also offers the choice of a five-star hotel, four-star serviced apartments and townhouses, more than 20 bars and restaurants and great fun for families.
