New family holiday package from Royal Westmoreland
March 9, 2012

Royal Westmoreland, the luxury villa estate on Barbados 's Platinum coast, has introduced the 'Platinum Family Holiday' for extended families wanting to celebrate a special occasion together such as a birthday or anniversary, or for those simply wanting to spend some quality time together. The package has something for grandparents, parents and grand children alike to make it a holiday of a lifetime.

The Platinum Family Celebration consists of:

- Seven nights' accommodation in one of Royal Westmoreland's spectacular villas which range in size from 2-7 bedrooms (depending on the party size)

- A special meal prepared by Royal Westmoreland's chef in the villa for the whole family
- Daily golf for the whole family on the championship golf course and practice facilities during the stay

- A family golf lesson for up to four people with Royal Westmoreland's golf professional

- A couple's spa treatment at Royal Westmoreland's Indulgence Spa

- A credit of BDS$1,000 (£320) for dinner at one of Barbados ' finest restaurants, The Cliff

Royal Westmoreland has a variety of accommodation options to suit every party size and budget. These range from a two bedroom Club Villa which is perfect for a family of four with younger children, to a three bedroom Royal Villa with a choice of plunge or private pool. For even bigger parties, the Exclusive Villas are the largest properties on the Royal Westmoreland estate and can sleep up to 14. These homes have four or five bedrooms in the main house with a further two bedrooms in a separate guest cottage next door, which is ideal for independent teenagers or grandparents.

The properties have a spacious sitting room, dining room and kitchen that are perfect for home entertaining and large family meals. All Exclusive Villas have a private pool with large terrace, so there is ample space for sunbathing and seating for everyone.

Royal Westmoreland is home to one of the finest championship golf courses in the world. Designed by renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr, the par 72 course is popular with amateurs and professionals alike. Included in the Platinum Family Celebration is a golf lesson for up to four people with Royal Westmoreland's professional as well as daily golf for the whole family, so whatever their standard, the whole family can improve their swing together.

If the laid back Caribbean lifestyle isn't enough, the Indulgence Spa is sure to encourage anyone to relax. Situated close to Mullins Beach , it offers a range of soothing treatments in either the therapy rooms or by the peaceful outdoor pool. The Spa is also the island's only retailer of Elemis body and beauty products.

Because the Platinum Family Celebration is designed for families celebrating either a milestone event or simply the opportunity to be together, the package includes a meal at The Cliff, one of Barbados' finest restaurants. Set on a cliff top with every table overlooking the Caribbean Sea , and lit by flaming torches, The Cliff will make any occasion one to remember.

All members of the family have unrestricted access to the estate's other extensive leisure facilities which include three 25 metre leisure pools, a children's pool, a fully-equipped gym, Clubhouse restaurant, Bajan Rum Shak, floodlit tennis garden courts, and Mullins Private Beach Club on Mullins Bay - a magnificent stretch of secluded coast just a few minutes' drive away from the estate.

Guests can also take advantage of Royal Westmoreland's legendary concierge service, which guarantees a platinum level of customer care for every member of their family.

The Platinum Family Celebration costs from £2,495 in a 2 bedroom Club Villa sleeping 4 people for 7 nights stay, excluding flights. Prices for larger properties on request.
