Fun Ryder Cup odds
September 27, 2012

The Rory McIlroy/Tiger Woods "love-in" is set to propel Ryder Cup betting to a whole new level.

The online betting community has seen record turnover in the build-up to the big golfing showdown. The Rory/Tiger factor has had a huge effect on turnover versus previous years and really captured the public's imagination. It's like a love-in.

"To reflect this special relationship we're offering 2/1 that there's a cuddly embrace between the world's two most famous golfers - that's a shorter price than the 11/4 on Tiger and Phil Mickelson being paired together which seems unlikely given their previous. Turnover is already treble what it was at Celtic Manor two years ago and looks set to go through the roof."

Both McIlroy and Woods will also be leading contenders in the Fist Pump Champion market which is priced at 5/6 for over/under 7.5 fist pumps during the Ryder Cup.

Other Ryder Cup specials available include Donald Duck (Luke Donald to record no points) at 6/1, Bubba Blubber (Bubba Watson to cry) which is 12/1 during a match and 4/6 after a match plus lethargic American Jason Dufner to smile during a match at 1/2.

50/1 on The Comeback Kid, any player to come back to win from 5 holes down or worse in the singles.
