Tee-off your Red Sea Holiday at Taba Heights

The Taba Heights International Pro-Am 2012 will welcome back both professional and amateur golfers to the stunning Red Sea resort's championship golf course.

Celebrating six years of the annual competition, the international event will be held under the watchful eye of the new General Manager, Adrian Cafaro, who moved from the UK in June 2012 to run the world renowned course, rated as number one in Egypt.

The 72-hole stroke play tournament will take place from 29 November to 2 December and is sponsored by the luxury five-star Sofitel Taba Heights hotel. Competitors will enjoy welcome cocktails, free range balls on practice and competition days and a gala prize dinner, as well as plenty of opportunity to win extra prizes through 'longest drive' and 'nearest the pin' competitions.

Holidaymakers can also enjoy the atmosphere under the winter sun as the teams of four (one professional and three amateurs) test their skill and ability to compete for a slice of the jackpot prize fund of £10,700 (US$16,850).
