Experienced golf marketeer joins TGI Golf Partnership
August 3, 2012

The TGI Golf Partnership - Europe's leading golf retail services group, owned by PGA Professionals - has appointed experienced golf industry professional Pauline Dale to oversee its extensive marketing solutions.

The 39-year-old joins the group as Marketing Manager, a position she previously held for 11 years at ProQuip, and will oversee TGI Golf's marketing programme, which offers its 400-plus Partners across the UK assistance in running efficient and successful businesses.

Marketing tools such as the Online Print System, which allows Partners to personalise and print marketing collateral from golf's leading suppliers and the Enewsletter Programme, where Partners send monthly bespoke enewsletters to their customers, have proved highly successful and effective among the Partnership.

"I've always admired the professionalism of the TGI Golf Partnership and the way it works," said Pauline. "I've known Eddie Reid (Managing Director) since he first started working for TGI Golf, and the opportunity to work alongside him and the TGI team was too good to turn down."

As Marketing Manager, Pauline will continue to promote the TGI Golf Partnership brand and the extensive work it does to support its Partners' businesses and help them increase their profitability.

Eddie Reid, TGI Golf Partnership Managing Director, added: "Through our partnership with ProQuip I have worked with Pauline for many years in her previous role and I know what a consummate professional she is.

"Pauline has vast experience in golf marketing and knows the golf professional's business well having spent many years around her father's Pro Shop when she was growing up.

"I very much look forward to working alongside Pauline and utilising her expertise to continue enhancing our Partners' businesses in every aspect."

Pauline's father Derek Small was a PGA Professional at Dunbar Golf Club for 22 years, and she spent many hours in his Pro Shop as a child and worked there part-time while studying at Herriot Watt University.

Having graduated Pauline worked as a golf clothing designer for companies such as Greg Norman, Reebok and Top Flite, before moving into marketing with Marketing Concepts, based in Leith.

Pauline, who took up her new post in July, said: "I am looking forward to broadening my understanding of all areas of the golf industry and working alongside TGI Golf's high quality Partners and Partner Suppliers."
