May 13, 2013

Designer of The Montgomerie Maxx Royal, host venue to the Turkish Open, Colin Montgomerie, created excitement at Golf Live today, visiting the stunning Maxx Royal stand to sign autographs, chat with guests and sign exclusive prizes that will be given away to lucky followers of The Maxx Royal's twitter account (@MaxxRoyal). In jovial mood, the 8-time European #1 took time out his schedule to interact with fans and promote the award-winning destination that he often visits with his family. Designed to give consumers a flavour of the ultimate luxury on offer at The Maxx Royal Golf & Spa as well as a taster for the European Tour Final Series venue, the stand at Golf Live has attracted much interest from golf and travel enthusiasts attending the show.

"It in an honour to be involved with the Montgomerie Maxx Royal and the stand at Golf Live is a perfect representation of the stunning venue we have created down in Turkey. I am looking forward to what will be a landmark event for Turkish golf, seeing the best players in the world take on the challenging layout and enjoying the authentic Turkish hospitality at the magnificent 5-star Maxx Royal Golf & Spa," commented Montgomerie.

Assistant Golf Sales Manager, Leyla Gurses said: "It is great to have the Ryder Cup star drop in to the stand here at Golf Live, demonstrating his unwavering support of The Montgomerie Maxx Royal. Golf Live is an important opportunity for us to give UK consumers who are considering their next holiday a taste of the quality and service they can expect when visiting us. We are honoured to host the first European Tour event in Turkey, and hopefully the elegant stand and our partnership with Colin goes some way to highlighting the first class facilities and experiences that we offer our guests. "

Whilst on the stand at Golf Live, Colin signed a number of The Montgomerie Maxx Royal golf shirts which will be given away to lucky followers of the Maxx Royal's twitter account (@MaxxRoyal). Simply by 're-tweeting' one of the Maxx Royal's Golf Live tweets and following the Maxx Royal's official twitter account, golfers from across Europe will have a chance of winning one of four logoed golf shirts signed by the 2010 winning Ryder Cup Captain.

The Turkish Open to be staged from November 7th - 10th 2013 will not only be the first ever European Tour event to be held in Turkey and one of four tournaments that make up the inaugural four Final Series of the European Tour's Race to Dubai series, it will also be the first-ever Professional Golf event to be hosted at the award-winning Montgomerie Maxx Royal. With stunning views of the surrounding Taurus Mountains, the par 72 Championship course will welcome the leading golfers from the Race to Dubai order of merit, all competing for the final spots at the season ending Dubai World Championship.
