One&Only joins other leading hotels in Montenegro

April 16, 2013

Boka Group, developers of Montenegro's first 18-hole championship golf course, with 400 residential units and 5* hotel has welcomed the news that Tivat will soon have a new exclusive One&Only Resort of 150 luxurious guest rooms and villas, a One&Only residential component and world-class marina, situated just 10 minutes from its new golf facility.

An independent state for just six years the Government has been building on Montenegro's reputation as an elite tourist destination with large projects, such as Porto Montenegro - a luxury yacht marina and waterfront development, already publicised and now well underway. Leading hotel groups Banyan Tree, Hilton, Regent, Aman, Wyndham Grand are already in the country, or about to start development.

Boka's Founder, John Kennedy, today said: "News of our new neighbours impending arrival is a great boost for the Tivat zone and Montenegro in general. With this exciting development we are more than convinced this part of Montenegro will be the focus of high end tourism.

"Montenegro is bucking the trend and steaming ahead with luxury development and facilities and offers a great choice for visitors. The Tivat zone not only enjoys a spectacular sea side location but each of the core facilities needed for sustainable high end tourism are coming together. With Porto Montenegro and Boka's golf facility, One&Only is a perfect fit for this deluxe environment.

"It is not surprising that Montenegro was rated number two in this year's Best in Travel-Top 10 countries and continues to improve with each brand arrival. One&Only provide a great match to the facilities Boka Golf will offer and we are excited by the news of this expanding client base. Montenegro is very much the luxury tourist destination to watch"

Montenegro Airlines fly direct to Tivat twice a week from May to the end of October on Wednesdays and Sundays and once a week to the capital, Podgorica. British Airways, easyJet, Flybe, Jet2, Monarch and Thomson operate flights to Croatia's Dubrovnik airport giving passengers a daily flight choice.
