Private golf course for sale

November 26, 2013

What is probably the only English course of its kind is coming to the market.  Idehill Manor in Devon boasts the only private championship-length course in the country and will come with a period manor house, cottage, heated swimming pool and over 50 acres of peaceful undulating country about 5 miles from the coast of South Devon.

"Anyone who appreciates privacy and quietness" say the agents "will enjoy the freedom of strolling 100 yards to the first tee whenever the urge takes them, without having to plan ahead; and it's great to be able to treat ones friends".

The course was created for the owner 9 years ago with only natural hazards like streams and woods, and it tests players' acumen with holes from 95 yards to a record 740 yards.  The whole course is 6,117 yards (par 73) with shorter variations possible if guests arrive early, as they might with this attraction!

Full information and a welcome range of photographs will be found in the attached brochure or on the Jackson-Stops and Staff's  website:  www.jackson-stops.co.uk .  They will be giving a price-guide of £3.95m
