Enjoy the Open in style at the Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course

May 8, 2013

Luxury venue, Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course in Kelso, is offering high end packages for this year's Open Championship.  With the competition based at Muirfield in East Lothian from 14 - 21 July 2013, the Roxburghe represents a superb location only a short drive away, with the best in golf and fine dining included.

Within the Open package guests will enjoy overnight accommodation, chauffeured travel to and from the course, and a round on the Roxburghe's own championship golf course.  Also included is breakfast, a themed dinner and a gourmet picnic lunch, produced by the outstanding team of chefs.

Just over an hour's drive from Edinburgh or Newcastle airports and with the option for collection from Berwick Station on the East Coast mainline, staying at the Roxburghe is not only convenient for the Open, but also makes it a special occasion.

Part of the Roxburghe Estate which includes the historic Floors Castle, the hotel represents the best in Scottish country house style with roaring fires, four-poster beds and the best in fine dining. It is the Duke and Duchess's personal touches that make Roxburghe Hotel so special.  From the furnishings and paintings from the Duke's own home, to his hand on the wine list, golf experience and country pursuits, the hotel is a true home from home with character and personality throughout.

Prices for the Open start from £250 per person per night, based on two sharing.  Upgrades are available from £30 a night for a deluxe room to £90 a night for a feature suite.  The package does not include tickets and entry to the Open Championship itself.
