American Golf at The Open

July 9, 2014

Europe's largest golf retailer, American Golf, will be making an appearance at The Open Golf Championship this year offering golfers of all abilities the inside line at the biggest tournament of the year so far. Whether you're interested in trying the latest new products or getting custom fit like the Pros playing at Royal Liverpool, or simply want some tips to raise your game an American Golf PGA Professional will be on hand to show you the ropes.

"Everyone at American Golf is passionate about the game so we obviously look forward to The Open just like every other golfer does," comments Daniel Gathercole, Head of Marketing at American Golf. He continues, "As this year's championship is so close to our headquarters we decided that we would bring the American Golf experience to Royal Liverpool. Anyone is welcome to drop in, swing a few clubs, have a lesson or simply have a chat with our experts."

You'll find the American Golf team opposite the clubhouse near entrance 4. Look out for the Tour Truck which will be onsite for the duration. As well as expert advice from the American Golf PGA Pros there will be giveaways, competitions and refreshments available to anyone who drops by.

With a PGA Pro available in every store, the widest range of product available, free custom fitting for all customers, free home delivery and the new iPad ordering system, American Golf is better placed than ever to help golfers to perform to the best of their abilities.
