European Junior Golf Tour

Talented young golfers from UK & Europe are being invited to take part in the European Junior Golf Tour which will provide a new competitive experience for juniors and youths to develop their game to new levels.

The tour features a challenging schedule of nationwide tournaments played at some of the UK's best courses and layers will compete in their age groups 12-13, 14-15 and 16-17 years for the full season. Handicap limits will apply. The competition format will be based on gross and net
medal scores qualifying towards the annual Order of Merit.

The experienced EJGT management team will ensure the events and activities will be professionally organised and managed to the highest possible standards along with the Tour’s patrons Joanne Morley (Former LPGA player and Solheim Cup Vice Captain) and Andrew Murray, Senior Tour Player and former European Open tour winner.

A unique tour membership package is available offering exclusive access to key professionals in the golf industry from fitness specialists to current tour players. The Tour has also been offered an exclusive invite for a tour member to play in the prestigious Ian Poulter Invitational annual
event at Woburn in July 2014.

The Tour also encourages clubs and coaches to promote the scheme to 'sponsor a junior’ to play on the Tour and represent their home club.

Regional competitions 2014 season: - Notts (Hollinwell), Burnham and Berrow, Machynys, Abridge, Astbury Hall, Wychwood Park and St Annes Old Links.

The EJGT Tour Championship will take place at The Buckinghamshire in August with a view to attracting Junior Club Champions to compete.
