Europe odds on for Ryder Cup

September 4, 2014

Europe are the 8/13 favourites to win the 2014 Ryder Cup with Team USA 13/8 outsiders.

Europe opened at 10/11 back in October 2012 and over that period of time just over 86% of wagers placed at William Hill have been for a European victory. The biggest bet of which was a  £9000 bet at 10/11.

Conversely the odds of a USA victory have drifted from 11/10 out to 13/8 with the biggest bet on Tom Watson's team just £250.

"Europe look very strong indeed and the betting public are all over Paul McGinley's side," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Ian Poulter is 6/5 to be the highest scoring wild card, with Lee 11/8 & Stephen Gallacher 10/3.

Which Wild Card Will Win The Most Points : 6/5 Ian Poulter, 11/8 Lee Westwood, 10/3 Stephen Gallacher
