US odds better without Tiger

August 20, 2014

William Hill customer across the World have reacted to the news that Tiger Woods will NOT be taking part in the Ryder Cup by backing team USA.

"Tiger's Ryder Cup record is pretty weak and the lingering question of will he or won't he take part could well have unsettled the team. Tom Watson can now wipe the slate clean and get on with his job," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Europe are the current 8/13 favourites to beat the United States, who are offered at 13/8.
