Lamkin SINK grip debuts at Northern Trust Open

February 25, 2016

Lamkin Corporation – the original manufacturer of premium golf grips – would like to congratulate the second place finisher of the 2016 Northern Trust Open on his breakthrough performance this weekend at The Riviera Country Club.

Equipped with Lamkin's new SINK 11” Squared putter grip, the big driving journeyman took over the leaderboard after two rounds and maintained his position among the world's greatest golfers for the duration of the weekend, including taking a two shot lead heading into the 15 th during the final round. In the end, his 14-under 270 was enough for a T2 finish and matched his best PGA career PGA TOUR finish.

The newly released line of SINK putter grips comes in two distinct shapes (Round and Squared), both of which include a curved-handle profile designed to encourage proper wrist alignment for a more fluid putting stroke. Both SINK shapes are available in 11 and 13 inch lengths and are made with a proprietary lightweight rubber that is 29%-35% lighter than traditional EPDM rubbers.

SINK putter grips also include multiple surface textures, including a micro-webbed diamond pattern and traditional deep-etched lines, offering an optimal level of slip-free grip traction. The carefully placed smooth ovals on the front of the grips provide golfers with an effective hand position reference to promote improved putting consistency and confidence.
