April 17, 2017

2010 European Ryder Cup player Edoardo Molinari had to return to the 2016 European Tour Qualifying School but a Play-off victory over Paul Dunne at the Trophee Hassan II returns the Italian former US Amateur Champion to European Tour Category 4 membership and to World Number 245, a jump of 366 positions.
On the Japan Golf Tour, Wen-Chong Liang shot a final round 3-under-par 68 at Token Tado Country Club en route to a 16-under-par 268 victory total at the Token Homemate Cup, his second career title on the Japan Golf Tour.
Shunya Takeyasu of Japan edged Namchok Tantipokhakul of Thailand to win his first career title at the PGM UMW Championship. The 23-year-old Japanese closed with a five-under-par 67 to triumph in the Asian Development Tour (ADT) event with a winning total of 16-under-par 272 at the Templer Park Country Club.
