Jose Maria Olazabal has
been selected for the Rest of Europe team and Ian Woosnam for the Britain and
Ireland team that will contest the inaugural Seve Ballesteros Trophy at Sunningdale,
starting on Friday.
The other members of the
10-man teams were derived from the 1999 and 2000 Orders of Merit.
The Europe team will be
captained by Ballesteros himself and the British team by Colin Montgomerie.
The players will contest
foursomes, fourballs, greensomes and singles over the three-day event.
