Former Walker Cup player John Grace won the biggest title of his
short professional career Monday when he beat left-hander Peter Dawson in a
play-off for the $266,000 The Belfry PGA Seniors Championship.
Playing over the PGA National course at The Belfry, Grace, an American,
birdied the first extra hole -- the par-4 18th -- after hitting an
eight iron to within three feet.
Earlier Dawson, from Hampshire, had raced through the field from
joint 14th place to the top of the leaderboard with a course
record-equalling 65.
