Frenchman Richard Gillot
edged out Scot Andrew Raitt to complete his first victory as a professional at
the windswept Challenge Open tournament in Herkenbosch, Holland.
A closing 76 left him on
seven-under-par 281 and a shot clear of England-based Raitt.
Raitt admitted: "I
didn't play that well and I certainly didn't putt well.
"It was really tough,
but I managed to hang in there - and when I birdied the 18th to go to six under
I knew Richard was six under with two to play and anything could happen in those
conditions. But he birdied 17, and I knew I would come up one short."
