The World Golf Hall of Fame
will have no new members this year.
Greg Norman was the closest
in the balloting, finishing with 70.1 percent of the vote. Nominees need to be
on at least 75 percent of the ballots returned.
The late Payne Stewart,
who died in a plane crash last October 25, was named on 64.3 percent of the ballots.
Ben Crenshaw was third with 50.9 percent of the vote.
Players must be at least
40 years old, a member of the PGA Tour for at least 10 years or the Senior Tour
for at least five. Players must also have at least 10 PGA Tour wins or a combined
20 on both tours.
