Irish Open to move to Fota Island in 2001

The Murphy's Irish Open is to be played at Fota Island in Cork in 2001 and 2002.

Padraic Liston, of sponsors Murphy Brewery, said: "It has been our stated intent since becoming title sponsor in 1993 to rotate our national Open throughout the country.
