David Huish recorded his third victory on the European Seniors Tour when he
rolled in an eight-foot putt on the first extra hole of aplay-off
in the Lawrence Batley Seniors event at Huddersfield.
Par was enough to defeat Neil Coles of England and South
African John Fourie after all three players had completed the regulation holes
in a one-under-par aggregate of 212.
Huish, the professional and course manager at the North Berwick club in the
Lothians, secured his place in the play-off when he closed with a two-under 69
that included three birdies and a solitary bogey.
"I wasn't playing all that well earlier in the season but I've been working
hard on my game and I feel I've turned the corner," saidHuish.
