American Ryder Cup player, Justin Leonard has confirmed his participation in the 2000 Dubai Desert Classic.The event will be held at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club for the second consecutive year.
“I am thrilled to be taking part in the 2000 Dubai Desert Classic.For the last several years, friends have told me about this wonderful golf tournament and about the superb hospitality that accompanies it.I am looking forward to experiencing the United Arab Emirates and the unique culture that the country has to offer,” Leonard said.
“I’m also excited about the prospect of competing against some of the best players in the world in a new setting.Dubai should be a great place to help get my season under way,” he added.
Leonard joins, Paul Lawrie and Jose Maria Olazabal as the other major winners who have committed to play.
