Ex-managing director of
the Ladies' European Tour, John Mort is sueing his former employees citing unfair
dismissal.
Mort was appointed from
financial controller of the LET in March 1998 following the departures of chief
executive Terry Wilson.
After only seven months
in charge Tim Howland was appointed chief executive.
Subsequently a new management
arrangement was announced that the tour would be handled jointly with a management
company European Sport Group - of which Tim Howland is managing director.
