Colin Montgomerie has become
Scotland's first ambassador in a campaign to raise the country's profile around
the world.
Montgomerie will carry a logo on his bag to promote 'Scotland the Brand' and
carry out a number of duties including speaking at business functions.
He said: "It is a tremendous honour. I love Scotland and as I travel the
world I am keen to get across what Scotland really stands for, our great achievements
in the past and our future capabilities."

First Minister, said of Montgomerie: "His skill and achievements make him
a tremendous ambassador."
