Alison Nicholas collapses
in hotel room
Alison Nicholas is a doubtful
starter for the Ladies Australian Masters on the on Thursday after collapsing
in her hotel room.
Nicholas,who won the 1997
US Open, spent Tuesday night in a local hospital where it was diagnosed she was
suffering from a virus.
She was released from hospital
on Wednesday, 24 hours before she was due to tee off, and has spent the day in
her hotel bedroom recovering.
She hasn't yet withdrawn
from the tournament but has admitted she is an unlikely starter
