Norman looking forward to getting back to golf

Greg Norman is as motivated as he's ever been for his three upcoming tournaments in Australia, according to close friend Nick Price.

Norman arrives in Australia this weekend to prepare for the Heineken Classic, Greg Norman International and Australian Masters.

Price has spent the past few weeks practising with Norman at the exclusive Medallist Club in Florida.

"Greg is so motivated to play and he's been practising hard which is always a good indicator for me to see how many hours a guy puts in", Price said.

"He's been working so hard and I do think he's going to have a really good year".

Price said Norman's off-course business dealings - golf course design, clothing and apparel, grass growing, theme restaurants, pasta sauces and energy bars - could again take a back seat to golf as Norman tries to regain his best form following shoulder surgery.

"It's not as though his priorities have changed but he got himself into the business side of things when he had that shoulder injury.

"But now he wants to play again and that's great."
