Campbell wins at second playoff hole

Michael Campbell made an 18-foot eagle putt on the second playoff hole to beat Craig Perks and win the New Zealand Open on Sunday.

Campbell, currently No. 1 on the European Order of Merit, closed with a 7-under-par 64 and Perks, a member of the United States' BUY.COM Tour, shot a 65 for 15-under 269 totals on the Paraparaumu Beach course.

The New Zealanders played the par-5 18th twice in the playoff, with both managing birdies on the first extra hole.

Australia's Paul Gow, also of the BUY.COM Tour, shot a 69 to finish third at 270. He shot a 62 Friday and was the leader after the second and third rounds.
