Classic on the US PGA Tour after birdies at the last four holes. Dudley moves
into the Official World Golf Ranking Top-25 for the first time in 23rd position.
Lee Westwood moves up to
5th in the rankings, his highest ever rating as Vijay Singh drops to 6th. Jim Furyk continuing good form moves him up another stop to 8th. He joins Tiger Woods,
Kirk Triplett and Jesper Parnevik in gaining over 100 ranking points in 2000.
Fred Couples returns to the top 20.
Rolf Muntz's victory in
the Qatar Masters was his first on the European Tour. His five shot victory over
Ian Woosnam puts him into the Official World Golf Ranking Top-200 for the first
time in 194th position.
Nobuo Serizawa won the Token
Corporation Cup, the first event on the 2000 Japan Golf Tour. Nobuo remains outside
the World Top-200 in 322nd position.
