Mike Weir has been named PGA Tour Player of the Month for November, tour officials have announced. After tying for 21st place at the Tour Championship, Weir earned the second victory of his career – and $1 million – at the American Express Championship in Valderrama, Spain.
Meanwhile, Sweden's Pierre Fulke has been named the European Tour's Asprey and Garrard Golfer of the Month for November, officials from that tour have announced. Fulke held off Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood and Michael Campbell – all gunning for the European Order of Merit title – to capture the Volvo Masters.
