The Williams World Challenge,
an unofficial event featuring 12 of the world's top golfers, is changing dates
and location.
The 72-hole event will
be played Nov. 27 to Dec. 3 at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks. Last year's
event, held over New Year's weekend in Scottsdale, Ariz., was won by Tom Lehman.
The winner will earn $1
million from a purse of $3.5 million.
The 12-player field will
include the top 10 from the Official World Golf Ranking and two others selected
by the Tiger Woods Foundation, which the event benefits.
