Laura Davies wins in Japan

Laura Davies shot a 2-under-par 70 Sunday and won the Itoen Ladies golf tournament by three strokes over Japan's Junko Yasui.

The three-round total of 9-under 207 gave Davies her fourth Itoen Ladies victory and seventh overall in Japan.

Davies started the final round with a two-stroke lead over Ko Woo-soon of South Korea and wrapped up the title with a three-birdie, one-bogey round on the 6,365-yard, par-72 Great Island Club.

Yasui shot the day's best score of 67 and finished second at 210.

Davies received first-prize money of $90,000. Ko shot a final-round 73 and tied for third at 212 with Ku Ok-hee of South Korea, Wei Yun-jye of Taiwan and Kasumi Fujii of Japan.
