The European Challenge Tour will play this year on Finland's Golf
Talma course. Replacing the Finnish Masters, with a prize fund of
150,000 euro, the event takes place on 9-12 August.
The course was designed by Henrik Wartianinen, is 6,135 metres long
and was opened in 1990. It is planned that the tournament will play
at this venue for at least the next three years.
"Talma Golf Club is thrilled to stage its first Challenge Tour event,"
said Risto Lassila, Chairman of Golf Talma. "We are eagerly looking
forward to hosting and seeing the future stars compete for the first
prize.
