Parnevik climbs back up rankings

Sweden's Jesper Parnevik vaulted five spots to 12th in the latest World Golf Rankings. Parnevik bogeyed the 18th hole but hung on to win the Honda Classic by one shot over Craig Perks, Geoff Ogilvy and Mark Calcavecchia.

Tiger Woods remained comfortably ahead at number-one and will look for his first win of the season as he defends his title at this week's Bay Hill Invitational.

Phil Mickelson and Ernie Els stayed second and third, respectively.

Lee Westwood switched places with Davis Love III this week with the Englishman taking fourth and Love, the PGA Tour's second-leading money winner, falling to fifth.

Colin Montgomerie, David Duval and Vijay Singh held their positions from last week with the Scotsman coming in sixth, Duval in seventh and the reigning Masters champion eighth.

Hal Sutton and Tom Lehman rounded out the top-10.

Return to form at the Honda has boosted his rankings position. Allsport.

Darren Clarke took 11th this week followed by Parnevik, who won for the fifth time in his PGA Tour career.

Nick Price remained 13th in the latest rankings while Jim Furyk fell two spots to 14th.

Thomas Bjorn, Mike Weir and Sergio Garcia all fell one notch from last week. Bjorn, who bested Woods at the Dubai Desert Classic two weeks ago, came in 15th, with Weir taking 16th and Garcia 17th.

Michael Campbell, Padraig Harrington and Stewart Cink rounded out the top-20 in the same positions as last week.
