Justin Rose has been rewarded
for his second consecutive runners-up spot by rising 109 places
to 211th in the latest world rankings.
The 20-year-old in was
runner-up to Mark NcNulty only a week after finishing second to
Adam Scott in the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Johannesburg, both
times just missing out by a single shot.
Mark McNulty won the Mercedes-Benz
South African Open, a co-sanctioned event on the Southern Africa
and European Tours, by one shot from Justin Rose. Mark McNulty moves

Mark Calcavecchia won the
Phoenix Open on the US PGA Tour for his third victory in the event
and moves back into the Official World Golf Ranking Top-50, up twenty-two
places to 29th position. Mark's aggregate of 256 beat Mike Souchak's
1955 record of 257.
