treated for cancer
CBS golf analyst Ken Venturi is apparently cancer-free
after completing 39 treatments for prostate cancer in March.
A spokesperson for CBS said Venturi, who will turn
70 May 15, was diagnosed last August with the cancer, but delayed
receiving treatment until this year because of his captainship of
the U.S. team at the Presidents Cup.
Venturi has been CBS' lead golf analyst since 1968.
