Hoch out of Colonial with eye problems

Scott Hoch withdrew from the Colonial on Tuesday because of eye trouble following surgery.

Hoch's withdrawal leaves the field at 125 players, and no alternate will be added to replace him.

Hoch has been on of the Colonial's most consistent competitors, finishing in the money in 15 of 17 appearances. His best finish was as runner-up to Tom Pertzer in 1991.
