Rose
becomes England's top ranked golfer Justin Rose is now, for the
first time, the highest ranked golfer in England.
The 21-year-old's third
place finish in the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open in Germany, one stroke behind play-off
pair Tiger Woods and Colin Montgomerie, lifted him from 81st to a career high
62nd in the world rankings. Lee Westwood and Nick Faldo's missed the cut
that left 71st and 78th respectively.
