Tiger signs deal with TAG Heuer

Tiger Woods signed a long-term endorsement deal with Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer.

Details of the agreement, which begins Jan. 1, were not released.

Forbes has reported Woods' endorsement earnings this year at $62 million.

His largest endorsement is with Nike, a five-year deal worth more than $100 million that runs through 2005. Woods also has sponsorship deals with Buick, American Express, Upper Deck, Wheaties and Walt Disney Co.

Woods, who remained at No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking for the 165th consecutive week, has won five times on the PGA TOUR this year, including the Masters, U.S. Open and World Golf Championships-American Express Championship. He leads the money list with nearly $6.5 million.

Woods joins Formula One drivers Mika Hakkinen, David Coulthard and Canadian Jacques Villeneuve and sprinter Marion Jones among others who have sponsorship deals with the company.
