European Tour 2004 Schedule released

The PGA European Tour will visit China for the first time next year with the BMW Asian Open in Shanghai.

The tournament at Thomson Golf Club will be held on May 13-16, falling between the British Masters in Meriden, England, on May 6-9 and the Deutsche Bank tournament in Heidelberg, Germany, on May 20-23.

With three of the 44 events still to be confirmed, the tour will visit 23 countries.

The 2004 tour already has started, with Padraig Harrington winning the Hong Kong Open on Sunday.
