Man to hit golf ball from top of Mount Everest

Jay White hopes to hit a golf ball from the top of Mount Everest.

The 48-year-old White will attempt to climb from the north side of the mountain. He and his team have spent the past four weeks "acclimatizing," climbing to increasingly higher altitudes, then descending, which helps the body adapt to the thin air that exists at high altitudes.

White is an employee at TaylorMade-adidas. If he gets to the peak, he will use a Maxfli M3 Tour Ball with R500 driver.
