Adam Scott moves into
World Top 20
Adam Scott has leapt into the worlds top 20 following his victory at
the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston.
The 23-year-old Queenslander claimed his first US PGA Tour title by four strokes
at the inaugural event, and his triumph has catapulted him 22 places up the rankings
to No.18 with an average of 3.45 points.
Tiger Woods (16.45) still comfortably leads from South African Ernie Els (9.31)
and his fellow American Davis Love III (9.04), who are vying for player of the
year honours following several victories in 2003.
Fijian Vijay Singh (8.37), Jim Furyk (8.02), Canadian Mike Weir (7.70), David
Toms (6.14), Kenny Perry (6.09), Irishman Padraig Harrington (5.84) and Phil Mickelson
(5.72) make up the top 10, and Robert Allenby (3.72) is the leading Australian
in 16th
