Westwood hoping Leadbetter
will help form
Lee Westwood is hoping that some advice from renowned coach David Leadbetter
will kick-start his bid to climb back up the world rankings.
Westwood was Europes top-ranked player in 2000 but has since suffered
a stunning fall from grace that sees him currently ranked 237th in the world.
However, Westwood has recently received some help from Leadbetter and is hopeful
of an improved performance at this weeks Portugese Open.
"I've been working hard down here for the last couple of weeks, talking
to David over the computer and then he rings me up twice a week," Westwood
told BBC online.
"Now I've got a clear picture of where I'm going. I know things will come
good soon because the improvement has been quite dramatic."
Westwood was in good form heading into the final round of the Bay Hill Invitational
three weeks ago, but crashed out of contention by shooting a 78.
