European Tour to visit Indonesia in 2005

Indonesia will hold its first European Tour event in March next year, organisers said on Monday.

The Indonesia Open will take place at the par-70 Cengkareng Golf Club, Jakarta, from March 24-27 and offer $1 million prize money.

The Tour has been steadily expanding its geographical base over the last decade and the 2005 schedule features events from Asia, Africa, Australasia and the Middle East.
