Woods & Sorenstam set for Skins Game
Tiger Woods will be joined by Fred Couples, Australia's Adam Scott and Sweden's Annika Sorenstam in this year's Skins Game, which will be played here November 27-28.
A winner of 40 PGA Tour titles, including eight majors, Woods competed in the Skins Game in 1996-97 and 2001-02.
He had his best success two years ago when he won three skins and $125,000.
Couples earned his fourth Skins Game title last year, passing Jack Nicklaus for most appearances with 11. He holds Skins Game records for most skins won (65) and most money ($2.87 million).
The 24-year-old Scott is one of the game's rising young stars, having claimed three titles in his first two seasons on the PGA Tour.
This year, he has won the prestigious Players Championship and the Booz Allen Classic.
Sorenstam, the world's top-ranked women's player, made her Skins Game debut last year, winning four skins and $175,000.
This weekend at the Women's British Open, she will attempt to become the first player to successfully defend all four modern-day major titles on the LPGA Tour.
