Bart Bryant moves up to World No.24

Bart Bryant won the The Tour Championship presented by Coca-Cola with a Tournament record score of 17 under par 263 and a margin of 6 strokes over World Number One Tiger Woods. This second PGA Tour victory of 2005 takes Bryant to World Number 24, a jump of 20 places.

Heath Slocum won the Southern Farm Bureau Classic at Annandale Golf Club after a final round of 66 gave him a two stroke margin of victory. Slocum climbs 39 places in the Official World Golf Ranking to World Number 101.

Azumo Yano won the Asahiryokuken Yomiuri Asoiizuka Memorial Open on the Japan Golf Tour and improves his World Ranking by 177 places to 281st.

Chinarat Phadungsil(Am), the World Junior Champion, became the youngest player to win on the Asian Tour as he took the Double A International Open after a Play-Off with Shiv Kapur, taking him to World Number 583=.
