Tim Clark moves into the World's Top 20
Tim Clark improved his already excellent record at Loch Lomond with a two stroke victory over Maarten Lafeber and Darren Clarke at The Barclays Scottish Open. None of his four rounds were any higher than 67 and the win moves Clark up 9 places to World Number 17.
Sean O’Hair continued his sensational rookie PGA Tour season with a win at the John Deere Classic at the TPC at Deere Run. A model of consistency, O’Hair dropped only one shot to par in his last three rounds. The win has moved him up to World Number 53 from last week’s number 93 and from 1155th at the end of 2004.
Takao Nogami won the Wood One Open Hiroshima on the Japan Golf Tour by a stroke from Fijian Number 2 Dinesh Chand. Nogami is now World Number 326.
The weeks other winners were Jason Gore at the National Mining Pete Dye Classic on the Nationwide Tour, Ilya Goroneskoul won the Open de Volcans – Challenge de France on the European Challenge Tour while Lee Williamson was victorious at the MTS Classic on the Canadian Tour.
