Top names commit to play at Dunlop Phoenix

U.S. Open champion Michael Campbell, Britain's Colin Montgomerie and American Jim Furyk will join Tiger Woods at next month's Dunlop Phoenix tournament, organisers said on Wednesday.

World number one Woods, who won the title last year, is scheduled to headline the November 17-20 event at the Phoenix Country Club in the southern Japanese resort of Miyazaki.

The tournament is the richest in Japan with a total purse of more than $1.7 million. The winner will take home just under $350,000.

New Zealander Campbell beat Woods by two strokes to win his first major title at this year's U.S. Open in June.
